AHH HAHAHAHA!! The headless horseman looks epic but when that horse finally touches ground [link] Face-PLANT!

Couldn't decide what to draw again, but I felt like I had to in order to keep myself sane so I started the sketch of this and didn't like it. When I started painting the horse's skull I nearly threw this piece of crap out, but forced myself to finish anyway. The better half turned out to be the rider, but I'm surprised how bad the horse came out... his legs are so... short. (I was attempting foreshortening, but his head sinks behind his massive knees.) Forgot how to saddle up a horse... I'll remember soon enough. Then the rider is sitting on the horse's shoulders, I know you have to lean forward into the jump, but he's way to off balance for this, the horse will probably crash too. But at least it looked briefly epic seconds before when I did the picture. XD

I find it funny that as a child this guy terrified me. At the zoo during Halloween, we rode a train and in the tunnel they had someone dressed as the headless horseman chasing us. I don't remember it at all but not too many years later I also dressed as the headless horseman for Halloween. (Mom made my costume, but I had no real horse.)

This painting was very lazy from start to finish... though I spent a few hours on it. Gave the horse a skull cap for fun. I should do this again sometime... but with much better anatomy.

Critiques would be wonderful, even if you don't press the button (because you have to make them lengthy.) But if I've missed something other than anatomy and the fact the way he rides makes no sense I'd like to know.

Legend of Sleepy Hollow is awesome! Should watch that movie again, animated and live action.
