Used to keep prisoners under control, this monster's hollow head is just large enough to encase a human's while its extendable appendages wrap tightly around the victim's arms and legs. On command, it will tighten its neck cable enough to crush vertebrae.

Hangmen feed by digesting hair, skin and bone to continually regenerate their fibrous bodies, sometimes even constructing an entire new hangman within their central sac.
