Thanks. To be honest, I'm really not sure what type of tree these were on, but they look like cherry blossoms, I think.

You're welcome^^

Actually, if you live in Japan it may be cherry trees. (it looks like...) But cherry trees blossom around March-April, so... I don't know xD

Pretty flowers anyway U_U

I wish I was in Japan! I've always wanted to visit. No, I'm in Wisconsin, but some Japanese trees do grow here. `taeliac , who lives near me, has Japanese maples and cherry trees.

In the Midwest of the USA. Right by all the Great Lakes, just south of Canada.

Yup. I lived there once, just a 24-hour-ish drive over a bridge and through customs.

Is it cold the whole year, where you live?

Nah, not really. It gets really cold over winter, so cold sometimes school's shut down just because of the wind and cold. And every once and a while we have a ton of snow, feet of it. But we have warm summers too, though summers are short and springs are often non-existent.

Ah, I see. I like snowy winters and warm (but not too hot) summers!
Although it's a shame you can't appreciate spring ><

Luckily, we still get flowers and rain and stuff, but the weather tends to go back and forth between extremes.
