tips for photographing models....could fill a book lol.
I think it's fairly important to relax and have fun experimenting. if you make yourself and the model comfortable then it's easier as you go along. I'd also start off with clean natural light and some basic portraits. learn to really know your camera and manual settings and go from there

it depends on your processing style. I tend to stick with basic skin retouching (clone/heal/dodge&burn), but there's so much more you can do depending on how much manipulation you like to incorporate into your work.

this picture works because of the lighting and pose, not to mention the close up. It is these three elements that I love. For some reason I think the lace is distracting... the person and soul is more captivating than a piece of lace in my opinion. However, this is still a strong image and I'm surprised it doesn't have any more favs

Usually I wouldn't like stuff that is underexposed but it actually works to your advantage in this photo. I like the fact that the place where the person's body ends and the place where the background begins meet. I like the white tones. It seems to have a sophisticated shy look (the lace and the looking away) along with a seductive look (the lip gloss and the lack of clothing showing in the photo.)

Very beautiful. The make-up is really good, and does really make the light even better!
The hat & bracelet does also make a different, as they seems to stick out and take some focus.

The whole image looks delicate, not only the lace. The lighting and paleness of it all give it a very innocent feel aswell as being glamourous.
