for my 100 theme challenge 17. Bloodit's been awhile since i made a decent insane picture. feels good ^^ but anyway, i've been drawing alot of D.O.R. lately for the past few weeks, and i think i can honestley say...
i'm sick of it
i think most artist who draw out their storys get sick of it from time to time. and get back into it after a few hours or days or so. so i thought i would take a break from D.O.R. at the moment and just work on some stuff that's been stuck in my head for the past few weeks -more like months-
i got a question for you guys and for fellow artist.
1~ does anyone even read the artist comments? it kinda makes me sad that some people just look at the picture and don't even read what the artist has to say about it. if you read this artist comment to the very end, comment with a
at the end of your sentence -why the fork one you ask? cause i like it :3-2~ have any of you fellow artist out there ever made a pic before and you really liked how it came out, but then as you keep stareing at it the more you hate it? yeah that just happened to me about 5 minutes ago to this pic, i don't like how it came out anymore. but meh, whatever
heh i love drawing out crazy expressions. it's always so entertaining to do. i played with a new shading style, btw. no one most likely noticed until i pointed it out X3

I always read the comments. To understand the intent behind an artist facinates me, and besides, isn't it rude not to read them?
Since my art's so crappy, I always hate it...

If I'm going to comment I will always read the artist's comments. I mostly use the collect feature though
I agree with point 2 aswell. eg if I find something wrong with the pixels on the back leg and get really pissed off untill my parents assure me it's fine. |D

I always read the artists comments <3 It's more fun to look at the picture after seeing what exactly it's of and what they think about it~! 8D
And you can sometimes learn about the character if its a new one. :3
Ooh, that happens to me ALL the time. I look at it for a long time and notice things like the lines overlap into the picture, the colorings off, shadings terrible, anatomy is off by a mile...:T
But I'm always too lazy to go back and fix it since most of the time it's oekaki art. XD; And that's /hard/ to fix up.

X-x I hate it when people don't read the comments! xD; 'Specially when it's some huge pic with a lot of emotion or something, or there's a lot of work put into it.
xD; And, that happens to me too. >w>; I normally like my pictures when I just finish them, then go back and am like, '..no, that's wrong...'

I'm not a fan of blood, but I like how insane the character looks.
I have felt that way before.
Every single comic I've started before has ended due to my lack of interest in it.
And a lot of my drawings, I feel like I hate it. It's probably because you suddenly see aspects of it that just look....WRONG....to you.
I dunno.
I'm a HUGE fan of your art, by the way.

ok... I haven't seen this side of Horizon... beside her idea of punishment is capapult. (though the one into the catcus was painful Xwx)
And yea, I've done that with tons of my drawings, kills my self-esteem more in a way.
and I pretty much always read the artist comment's and then the comment's of people. To me art isn't just the drawing, but also people's reaction.
