I changed the version to it's current version (even the "win7sp1_rtm") and gave my original a .bak so I wouldn't lose it...still didn't work for me though. I run Win 7 64 bit. Can you help?

^ I mean everything transparent in the mainwindow, too with white font (I'm sorry for asking that but than it would really be the perfect skin ; )

It could be totally possible. Im sure it is extremely possible. My first ever attempt at making one compatible with BlackGlass Enhanced, I was wanting to do just what youre asking. But I got so frustrated with it, I made it as usable as possible and still be transparent. I usually feel quite alone in my taste for style. Everyone is on the big whats in fad wagon with snow leopard and Adobe user interface styles. But now that I know some people are really into it, Im gonna give it another shot!

"alone in my taste of style" ^^ I know exactly what you mean (lol). There are many cool styles here and many childish ones. But I really had to search for themes and skins of my taste to get a serious, stylish windows. I made a screenshot how far I am by now:

You're great fully tranparent skin for wmp would be the last missing part ^^ Then I'm satisfied ; )

Now it looks awsome ^^ Just what I was looking for!!!
Only one question (sry I'm perfectionist ,
Is it possible to make the rest transparent too?? (Speedbar and the field that pops up in the mainwindow when clicking "play, burn, sync" is very black ; ) If they would become transparent like the other fields it would be the absolutely perfect design style for wmp!!!!!!!!!!

demongill [2010-12-07 06:48:07 +0000 UTC]

is it compatible for windows x64?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

se7ensinner In reply to demongill [2010-12-07 07:23:12 +0000 UTC]

That it is. I have found this tool to be very useful when replacing x64 system files; [link]

When you drag/drop the x64 wmploc.dll into the GUI, it will say it looks like a syswow file and to replace it manually. When you do, and browse to the x64 file, still replace the one in the system32 folder only.

where do i put the .dll?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

se7ensinner In reply to LuminatX [2010-12-07 05:37:17 +0000 UTC]

%c:\windows\System32% Be sure to make a back up of the original. Or just rename the original wmploc.dll.bak. Must have taken ownership of the original file and have administrative rights or UAC disabled.
