im baaaaaaackkkkkk!!!!

Im back to DA in hopes to see changes with photography on this site, and to hope it improves. Deviantart is my home, it is where I first started, and it is where I was able to share my work with the world. <3

Oh man, it has been 7 months since I last took a photo, and 7 months ago I got married! My mind is finally settled in to all the adjustments. Now my creative energy can continue to flow once again

Ever since I moved out, my mental state started to change. This piece represents that. A new sense of responsibility took over. My adolescent years were slowly becoming no more. With this change, I've never had to sign so many important documents in my life! Contracts, insurance, bills, taxes, statements...just everything. I felt as if the realities I pursue so hard towards in my photographs were getting shadowed by the reality that is currently life, or adulthood. It honestly just stung inside, and this is the result

BTW. My wireless remote clicker thingy broke...RIGHT when I got to my location. I literally had to do that stupid timer thing and run @_@. Killed me.

A character cut his own throat with some paper sheets in one of the albums of 'Dylan Dog'.
I wonder if paper can really be used as a way of suicide.
But I am convinced that anything that is printed on paper can really be a killer - or a saviour.

Art can hurt, art can entrance, art creates you like you create art.
Art is great - and I  love your art.

That sucks about your remote, it sounds like you had some unwanted exercise. Congrats on getting married and I hope your photography flourishes

lol i knew the marriage thing was a priority.
you know how life gets in the way of these things

this is a great piece. you are awesome at representing your concepts.

now, this is me, but i would have scattered around more papers on the ground or made the pile you're sitting on more chaotic...it's tooooo organized lol i remember going through that sea of paperwork myself, and wished i had been more creative myself during that time.

welcome back.

Thanks for the advice man!! I DID think of that, and thought it would be more accurate for the concept...but the problem was it was SUPER WINDY. I tried to do that...but the paper just flew away...then i had to chase it around everywhere hahaha.

I'll just say im trying to be as organized as that paper column...trying

i figured as much

and yes, i get your concept completely.
you inspire me to invest some time in my own concepts which, quite frankly, are clogged up deep in the recesses of my head.
