Every time I play Soul Silver, I always capture the electrodes being used in the Rocket base, in Mahogany town, then use them to become champion of the Speed Coarse in the Pokelathon.

Always.

I've been wanting to do this little comic for a while, but it wasn't because of the stupidity that PETA tried to pull making their own Pokemon game, that finally spurred me to drawing this.

Aside from the silliness, there are a lot of parallels here when it comes to how PETA works.

In this instance (and only in this instance, since Lance is an overall awesome character, and I have no hate for him) Lance is basically symbolizing PETA's inner workings, and how they rather euthanize up to 96% of their animals that they 'rescue' or people give up to them, rather than find them good homes (Source: [link] ). Instead of wanting to capture the Electrodes, he'd much rather have us battle and faint them.

Dick move, Lance. Dick move. :T

If you really want to help animals, I would suggest rather than funding and donating to PETA, you should found and donate to your local SPCA. Not only do they use that money to provide medical care and shelter to animals, they go out of their way, and work with the police to rescue abused and neglected animals.
