The last Mermay submission of the month (sorta, it's technically one day late since I posted it past twelve o'clock, but hey, close enough). A request from my friend UmiMikoDesu to have his OC Hikari get mistaken for a real mermaid by actual mermaids and dragged down to a sunken pirate ship. All while her oxygen reserves get dangerously low...Couldn't finish it in time to close off Mermay so it's getting split into two parts. Then again, practically speaking every month is Mermay for me given that I'm a Kisekae mermaid specialist lol. So I guess in the end it's no big deal haha.
Fun fact, the green haired mermaid was originally made by UmiMikoDesu too, in this piece (Which technically makes this comic a loose retelling/remake of that image in hindsight). Reading that she was lonely and wanted a friend made me sad, so I made a companion for her! I'm not sure yet what the redhead is to her yet, a friend? A sister? Possible lover? All I know for sure is that at least the green haired mermaid isn't alone anymore!
