Description You asked for it.. i have books and books of this kind of sutff i have done over the years.. im throwing most out (recycleing the paper) but kept a few faves! ..

this is waht i do to familiarize myself with an animals anatomy.. ill get photos muscle charts and skeletons and draw them untill i feel reasonably proficient to draw my own.. then i use these as reference for muscles shadows shape .. i also try new ways of colouring new styles and abstracty stuff at this stage

anyho enjoy.. all horses were refed from calenders, old encylodpedias and magazines.. anyhting i can get my hands on to practice from!

these will be moved to scraps later!

that's actually a really good idea! i need to try that with my wolves, they've turned to utter crap lately. *runs off to go sketch*

yea and it releases tension.. you can just do little ones poses hair whatever.. and they dont need to be amazing.. half of mine are never even more than 1 or 2 lines then they get erassed until i find something that works!

that's one thing about HA that kinda bums me out, to be really active here and on my regular account i constantly have to be drawing finished works, there's no time to relax and scribble

doooo it! id love to see other peoples learning processes and the craziness of doodles is amazing!!! rough work = beauty!

Woah these are amazing! I used to be almost as good as that but then I turned to wolves and lost my horse drawing skills But I've started making a horse come back, one day I hope to be as good as this.
