Build: Almost ideal. Athletic but not bulky with nice bone, built slightly downhill.

Blood bay minimal tobiano with four socks, broken blaze, and Belton spotting (Flaxen Carrier).

Genetic Tested as: Ee/Aa/nT/nF

"Sassy but sweet. Mercy is just a fun allround mare. She shows her excitement by dancing around and bouncing/rearing/bucking but will do everything to avoid hurting her rider while doing so. She is very aware of her body and feet, and rarely steps on any toes even when she is up to her antics, which we hope will hold her in good stead over the jumps. She can get a bit distracted doing these acrobatics, so getting her to actually focus on her work when excited can be a trick, but once she settles she is eager to please and quick to pick up what she is being asked. Jumping seems to come naturally to her, and she has displayed her athletic ability early by jumping fences when turned out to get into horses she finds more exciting than her herd mates. Some creative fencing solutions have had to be investigated to ensure she stays put, though we have also changed the turnout herds a bit to give her some company that she enjoys as well. She is very keen on people as well though, so she has also jumped out of her paddock and stable when the humans are leaving or are not coming fast enough with her food. Surprisingly easy for everyone to handle given her young age, she has taken to ridden work beautifully and already has proven to be a very stable and adaptable mount regardless of rider or location. She doesn't often have genuine mare days, but instead she seems to enjoy being cheeky and playing with objects and individuals around her. She is one of the few mares that joins the geldings in the biteyface game."
