Description
This is a result of me thinking about the Avatar Last Airbender movie. I thought, amidst the people putting it down, I wondered, what would I have done better. And my solution: to use "the promise" story line from the Avatar timeline. For my take on it (as many comic book film adaptations often take liberties from the source material!), I focus on the Yu Dao story line and have that take place far into the main characters adulthood.

Originally, I was planning to draw Andy Lau as Zuko, but I decided to draw him as Earth Kingdom Kuei instead. The Fire Kingdom has always been based off of Japanese culture and Earth Kingdom more of Chinese culture, hence the switch to Ken Watanabe as Zuko. Anyways, I have a lot more of these Fantasy Castings dreamt up, not just for Avatar lol, I think I'll be posting a lot of these.
