Looking at the Western tradition of storytelling, to me, Hikaru represents and is evocative of a couple of different heroic traditions. Whether it's the tradition of the investigator or the detective, or the tradition of the frontierswoman/cowgirl. She's kinda like Calamity Jane, a lady with no name, the lone wanderer in a situation taking it upon herself to save the day. Walks into town on her horse and ultimately has to bring law and order to the Wild West. That's a little bit of what's going on if you play Seattle as the Wild West.
