i like the use of the red to orange gradient in the bg. what medium did u use? and how did u get to illustrating children's book(s)? that's something i want to do professionally; i've only done two books for my daughter so far...

I use acrylics! I got into illustrating children's books by having this company review my portfolio at the San Diego Comic Con. Those are a great way to get introduced to the companies. Good luck!
