There was a city faraway from Yharnam hidden in the desert. It was named Ahasta
Though rich in rare metals and oil, people here have suffered through drought for many years due to sandstorms that occurs rapidly and violently, making it difficult for foreign trading.
One day, a group of mysterious cultist arrive and offer a solution, a ritual that would result in rain.
Having gained the trust of the citizens, they made true what was promised and rise in power, gaining control over the city.
However, the rainwater brought a new diseases upon the land.
Some people turned into horrible violent creatures, some get thirstier and dryer the more they drink until they no longer crave water but blood instead.
The cult sent hunters to dispose of cases that are beyond recovering, but eventually things got out of control as more and more people turned.
You, disguised as a hunter of the cult are tasked with putting an end to this nightmare and discover the eldritch truth.
