This is Sonya Steel, the racer in the cyan kart in Speed Prix. The reason she's not looking at the camera is so that we could see her ponytail.

My files have her as Sonya Speed. What's her relation to Max Speed? When I originally thought up this roster, I thought there should be a family in there with Max and Sonya being husband and wife and May was their kid. But as I developed the character of Melissa Cruz, and her relationship with Max, I realized Max had to be single in order for it to work. So Sonya and May were changed. May ended up as an Asian martial artist. But what is Sonya now? A steel factory worker? The smart one in the group?

Maybe to make the Sonya Speed name valid, maybe she could be Max's sister who married Mr. Steel?
