First picture of 2019! Happy New Year y'all \o/
I wanted to draw a pic of my little boy Eko again, so here! This is a scene I've had in mind for quite a while, music inspired and I'd totally love to animate it if I could, because I have a very clear idea on how it would look, but I never will and you can see why lmao
I struggled a bit with the colors but I think they turned out alright in the end :')
I might have a speedpaint of it available later

The composition and color is very well done. I have this feeling of pure innocence and joy of the moment every time I look at this. The background and water are stunning, especially how the light hits the water.
And the baby elephant is just too adorable. A really nice piece to see to start the new year right ^^

Hm, I can already hear The Lion King music in the background, or something similar XD Love all the elephants and the birds flying by. Shading looks simple but it's actually not. This picture in great in many ways, from the center of focus to background to anatomy.
