lol we didn't have a tree this year. i got the purple lights from a friend (she used them at her wedding and didn't wanna keep them) and the white ones were discounted thanks to after christmas-y sales. i've been using my tripod wrapped with lights to create shadowing effects. its interesting to say the least.
