Today I want to tell you about a file that I have as a memory: my first school trip to the city of Maule, where I spent 5 days and 4 nights in their field, next to Lake Pejerrey.

This photo was taken in mid-November 2017, and it is the last photo I took, since that is where we returned by bus to Santiago. It was a nice experience, because we did many activities: we visited a nearby school where there were few students and my school was supporting them, we visited Lake Pejerrey, I became friendlier and closer with my classmates, among other things. To give you an idea, at that time I was about 14 years old, and I was finishing 6th Basic (I was about to start high school or "enseñanza media" as they say in my country next year). There are more photos that I took that I will post soon, so stay tuned.

It's a good thing that some of my photos that I took years ago are saved, so that I can remember those beautiful moments I spent with my course. Unfortunately, when the natural disasters of 2023 occurred in Chile, the river rose too high and destroyed the cabin we had spent time there. Even after the pandemic, my school stopped using that place for end-of-year field trips for all 6th graders.

At least the photos, despite the passing of the years, are still good to see again and again. They may also know what type of cell phone I used at that time, and how I was slowly learning to take photographs, even with how little blur I took.
