Hey everybody,as promised, here is the step by step for the last painting I posted. I feel a bit silly because it is basically nothing new... There are so many good tutorials on the internet but I still felt like sharing my process..

I'm not sure painting the detailed figure earlier is better - at least not when the figure is so small. When you do it in the end, it will more easily blend in the rest of the picture. It's like following the natural way of things - the forest was there long before the warrior came
