Fantastic, Sonja's physique is wonderful. I love the hair, it's shading and depth look very naturalistic.Β The weapons have a great solidity and look very effective. Fantastic work all around.

I really like the rough strokes in this painting, coupled with the nice renderings of the body. It gives it life and makes it dynamic. Sometimes, less is more.

Good artwork, although you can improve on the background. Try to make it more darker.

If he were to make the background darker, it would detract from the figure. The background fits just right as it is not the focus of the painting, the background acts as a supporting cast enhancing the figure.
One constructive criticism I would say which was a critique from my college days is to not cut off any corners from any painting b/c it makes a vector pointing away from the subject matter. If you look at the bottom left of the painting where the branches are, the branches end up cutting off the left corner of the painting making a vector pointing away. But then again no artist is perfect
