Saying so much with so little is, perhaps, the most difficult aspect of art to master. Primitive, sophisticated, simple, powerful...and I know it wasn't easy to make it any of those. It makes me feel despair on both sides. Simple warriors who cannot win. A creature who cannot change what it is. Favorite.

I love how you painted this setting! The way you put all the action in the background and detail in the foreground as if the viewer were sneaking in for a peek. I can almost smell the crisp, foggy air.
