Jediah Gottwald is the head commander of the organization called Genesis and is the father of Ophelia Gottwald, the main protagonist of the Code Genesis series. Jediah Gottwald is a 47 year old head commander of Genesis that takes his job as commander very seriously. Despite being 47, he is quite young looking and does not look like the average middle-age man. He has dedicated himslef on defending the planet from the Invaders and researching on them. Though he does have some personality, he always presented himself as a serious stoic person in his every day job and rarely show anything besides that. According to many that work for him, he is not a cold person as he is an understanble person that cares for the lives of others it's just that he always focus on his job but nothing else. Jediah is the husband of Venessa Vasquez, a former scientist that died in a accident during the making of the Angels, and the father of Ophelia Gottwald, who he left with his sister-in-law and is now being transfered to New York 2.0.

Everyday in his work hours he wears the same cloths which consist of a green coat, gloves, turtleneck, pants, and shoes. Besides that, Jediah always wear the same pare of glasses.

Jediah's design is inspired by Gendo Ikari from the Evangelion series.
His glasses are a gift from his brother and has kept it ever since in his everyday life.
Each color on his cloths repressent his personatlity. Green - judgemental, turquoise - stress and secrecy, black - authority, depression, and pessimism, red - anger.
