Dragons are by far my favorite mythical creature.Every now and then (and it seem more often these days) I get into a rather dark rut. Had the day off and pretty much most of that day was spent contemplating life problems and not really knowing how to fix any of said problems.
Spike was selected simply due to laziness. I needed a dragon to draw and one that didn't require much effort. It released some pent up stress but there's still plenty down there.

Coincidentally, it looks like hes staring at the place where his wings would be if he had them. I've always thought he would be upset about that. There should be some kind of episode based on his concern for that. Just a headcanon though.
