To be honest I wasn't sure if this was a painting or a photograph. The colours of the sky are so vivid and look way more real in this photo than it does in reality. You have captured a setting so beautifully. Not only does it look like a tropical story book setting but it gives off so much warmth and a feeling of hope.
How many people wish they would have such a view from out their window or balcony's. You did an amazing job and even though the details of the land and structure isn't seen so much, the darkness of it just somehow completes it.
Truly breathtaking.

Why I say, this deviation is quite the eye catcher, as soon as I saw it I instantly fav'd it and began writing this Critique. This wonderful photograph of such lovely scenery deserves much more positive comments and I would love to see it published in a place where it would get wonderfully positive publicity. The technique you used, or method rather of snapping this shot is glourious if I do say so myself. I must admit though that it sadly isn't that original of a sunset scene but I noticed you did capture as much as you could to make the photo pleasingly busy yet not eye cancer inducing. Originality shouldn't be a matter in such a great photo though and I would find it rather hard to find this picture tiresome if seen day after day. As i saw this photo I could just feel how you must have taking this magnificent shot, I'm a photographer to an extent and I just imagined the warm, damp sea breeze washing over me in a gentle manner. May you continue your excellent work!

This is a really good photo. I love the colors in the sky and the composition is pretty, too.
The line of mountains in the distance is very nice. It adds something to the photo. But, it can be me, I think the horizon is a little bit slanting. A small retouch in Photoshop or something can fix that.
A small thingey, the buildings on the right of the photo are a bit annoying. But it seems that you couldn't make this shot without them. It's not a big deal.
When you were a 7 minutes earlier, the sky was probably even more red. I don't know what you like more, but a picture taken a couple of minutes earlier can be pretty too.

Weel the horizon was more slanting but I cant get it better then this, can be a bit slanting still but I couldnt get it more titled^^
Oke, well I couldnt make it without them indeed because I was already leaning over a terrace fence

You really did an excellent job on this one, Casper. The composition is really well done. The colors are so glowey but soft. And the cloud in the foreground and the hills in the background add visual interest.

Nice position and camera setting perhaps, but need to keep the horizontal line 90 degree otherwise water flowing to your right. Hope, this help.

Adding frame does made the picture stand out and black is a good choice since it wills create more depth of field vs. your orange-yellowish sky.
