Description

This is sort of a quick edit for mid-morph concept of Owen when he Astral Projects outside of his body before fully awakening as a Necromancer. In that state he’s kind of like a full ghost but he’s still alive, as in he returns to his body as a fail-safe if he runs out of energy so it’s more of an out-of-body experience. I forgot to add the ghost aura but its pretty much just the same color as his spirit flames which are in face a manifestation of his soul’s power. There are downsides to using this ability though since it makes him stronger in some ways, but more vulnerable in others...

For example, the Blood Blossom-like protection of his blood isn’t there to ward against possession anymore since he’s in a pure spirit form which also means he’s a lot more exposed to the raw emotions of everyone around him. So Owen will have to learn to filter them out better and only feel what he chooses to. As a perk of this form though, he can boost ghost powers and even heal wounds directly. However, this makes him a big target because while ghosts know how dangerous Necromancers can be to their kind, they’re also extremely valuable as tools to them that can provide a lot more energy than just normal humans and/or objects from the real world.

"...I was just about to go hunt down whoever or whatever had caused this when the door creaked open on its own and to my astonishment, Owen was standing there but this form seemed...purer somehow. Most of his hair was still white of course however now it was unnaturally so as if each strand was made of a silvery light while the rest faded into a pale blue color to match his eyes that were glowing the same color as the flames gently curling off his pale skin." ~ Nevermore (Chapter 22)
