Originally the creature was bulky [link] but then I ended up scraping the damn thing right at the last minute and restarted it. Hope I'm not too late.

Name: Grinley aka. Grin in the night

Carnivore ( preferably large mammals )

The Grinley is a beast with long legs and light bones. Its light weight and large padded paws allows it to quickly and steathlfully move across snow and earth. It only hunts at night.

Its hunting methods are quite peculiar. It first starts by stalking and analyzing ( if it is stalking a group, it searches for the weakest minded being ). After analyzing, it reveals its glowing eyes to its prey ( when hunting a group, it carefully reveals itself to only its designated prey ). When the prey closes in to investigates, the Grinley quickly moves to a different position. It repeatedly does this action to slowly instil paranoia into the target until it panics and flees. When the victim is in a big enough clearing, the Grinley will chase it down with a quick burst of energy at a speed of up too 50 mph, targeting the neck with its sharp teeth and the torso with its claws.

Side note:
It chooses to scare its targets because of the fragility of its bones. A hard kick from a grown man would easily fracture its skeleton hence its caution. A weak minded being has less of a tendency to stand and fight. Strong light sources tend to harm its sensitive eyes.

It shelters itself inside deep, dark cave because of its nocturnal eyesight.
