Sue is generally a fun-loving man who enjoys simple pleasures in life. He rarely spoils himself and tends to be comfortable with just the bear minimums. Because his upbringing was a little rough at the start, he had to smooth out a few chips on his shoulder but he's become a well rounded person because of it. He's well liked within the hunter community and has gained respect for his valiant efforts in keeping the human world safe. His leadership skills are second to none and he is excellent at keeping people's spirits up even in the toughest situations. There is a lot Sue is thankful for and he does his best to be understanding and careful with his temper, which has been known to get the best of him. Even around the supernatural creatures, he holds a healthy respect for them... You know, as long as they abide by the rules. If he gets the chance, he loves to let loose and can be unpredictable and unruly when he doesn't have to deal with work. Even then, he never takes himself too seriously. He doesn't like to be forced into killing, even for monsters, he tries to avoid it.

Early Childhood
Sue was born in Fort Worth Texas to a single mother and his two older sisters. His dad had left shortly after he was born, only leaving him with the name of Susan and then taking off. His family later moved to the small little town of Briar, TX when his mother thought it'd be better to live away from the bigger cities. Because he was the youngest of three and the only male in his immediate family, a lot was expected from him early on. They told him he needed to be a protector, that he needed to help with the heavy stuff and stand up for his sisters. His family was generally very kind, and helped him build his confidence. Didn't phase him that he didn't have a daddy, and he always kept a pretty good attitude even for a kid. He had a lot of confidence and was well liked by their neighbors. His mother had only ever called him by his middle name "Emmett" and never even realized his real first name till his first day in elementary school. When the teacher called him Susan, he didn't understand but it was later validated by his mother. But by then it was too late, all the other kids insisted on calling him Sue and he couldn't go anywhere without people calling him that awful name.

Adolescence
So the name Sue stuck despite him insisting on being called Emmett, especially in his little small town where everyone knows everyone. It got to the point where he starting picking fights with whoever dared called him Sue. He'd grown a bit resentful of his own community and kept to himself, trying to avoid humiliation. He'd grown extremely resentful of his father and how that man just upped and left him and his mom and sisters. That and giving him a girl's name. Not even a pretty girls name. Just the most basic, boring, pathetic names of all time. It got to the point where he didn't want to go to school or bother reaching out to make friends with anyone. Of course, his mother still made him attend school but she thought it'd be a better idea if he started interesting with people who weren't his age. So when Sue turned 9, he started working on the weekends with his grandparents along with two others farm hands at their ranch. The work was long and hard but he enjoyed and liked to be out in the middle of nowhere. He grew close with the other two men that worked with his Grandpa's cattle and they taught him how to hunt wild game and live off the land like a real cowboy should. It improved his confidence again and he worked with the pair for a few years as they encouraged him to finish school and keep doing his best for his family. However, when he was 10 years old one of the farm hands turned out to be a werewolf and had accidentally revealed his wolf form to Sue during an accident that nearly killed him. The werewolf saved his life but Sue was now thrown into the world of the supernatural. The other farm hand turned out to be a retired Hunter from the US branch and he and the werewolf were good friends. They gave Sue the choice to keep living as he was or to train to become a hunter. The rest was history.

Adulthood
He grew up fast and got a hell of a lot bigger and tougher than the other boys in his town. Eventually most people stopped picking on him all together and Sue was able to graduate high school in peace. Turned out that he was suited very well to be a hunter and passed all the tests to become an official member of the US branch. Unfortunately, Sue had lost contact with the Werewolf. He'd gone rouge after his wife was killed by an animal and Sue hadn't heard from him since that incident though he is still trying to investigate it. He rose up quick within the ranks for his strong work ethic and talent but he still held a lot of hate for his Dad and that side of the family. Eventually he met up with his good-for-nothing Dad at a bar and they duked it out. It left him with a clip out of his ear and a few other scars but also... peace of mind. After that fight, he had a new outlook on life and began to visit with his dad a bit more and tried to understand people better. Turns out that both of them needed time to mature but they were better for it. The name Sue still leaves a bitter taste in his mouth but he lost all the hostility that used to come with it. After that, the man was able to get all the way to the second in command in his Branch, being highly favored to take the lead when Salem retires.
