I hate this. I hate everything about this. I hate the dull and bland shading. I hate the forced lighting. I hate the background. I hate how this turned out.but since all anyone ever wants from me is wings of fire.

Dude, if you're not into drawing Wings of Fire, then just don't draw it. Who cares what your watchers want? It's YOUR art and YOUR time to spend. Don't waste it on things that you don't enjoy. You can draw or write whatever you please. Do what makes you happy. Happiness is more important than watcher counts or comments or favorites.

Dude, if you don't want to draw Wings of Fire, then don't do it. The watchers don't control you, you control you're watchers, and if they don't like what you're doing, then screw them. What you draw is decided up to you, so if you want to draw Eddsworld, then do it because you do it with PASSION and LOVE. That's why i draw Homestuck because I'm Homesick trash instead of Wings of Fire. Sure, no one favorites it or comments on it, but I don't care because drawing it makes me less dead inside.
Bottom line is, draw whatever the hell you want. You are your own boss. Rock on, Rift.
