Original lineart by akuoreo.deviantart.com/art/Sed…While I was waiting for the colors portion of the commission, I decided to try and color it myself. I think I did very well! At least considering I had a mouse, no professional software, and had never done it before. It actually managed to fool a few people.
Of course, since I'm a beginner I didn't know how to deal with artifacting. And given I had a mouse, I couldn't do the shines Ally is normally capable of.
I vastly prefer her version, I'm just very excited I managed to do this myself. The worst part is probably the hair. Came out way darker than I'd have liked. Also, there are at least 3 uncolored spots I missed. I didn't bother fixing them because it's really no big deal. This isn't even the definitive version of the picture, so it shouldn't matter much.
