The holy Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar .. it is month of Mercy and the Qur'an because Allah revealed the first verses of the Qur'an in one night (one of the last ten nights of Ramadan) when angel Gabriel told our Prophet Muhammad peace and blessing be upon him that he had been chosen to receive the word of Allah to guide all mankind to the right path.

During this month all Muslims fast from eating and drinking from dawn until sunset.

Ramadan month has several goals. one of these goals is remind Muslims of the suffering of the poor and how he is hungry and thirsty all the months of year.

Finally, No muslim is a muslim if he does not fast this month this is one of the five duties of Islam ..
