This is my first offering for this year's Big Bang Challenge on lj: [link]

The image is intended to be a cover piece for LadyNorbert's story Triumvirate: [link] . This story is a fill-in-the-gaps story for the period around the Ishval war with Royai and Maes/Gracia. It's a very well written fiction and I would suggest giving it a read.

The other artist on our team was and she did this piece for the story: [link]

I actually worked on this one for a very long while, and while I enjoyed the way the lines turned out I do wish I was a little bit less like a colourblind rat when it came to blending and adding colour. I may post the line work itself and see if anyone else could do a better job colouring! (Which I'm sure someone could...)

But, anyway, it was a pleasure working on this year's big bang challenge, I was very lucky to be working with two dedicated and talented people I hope I've made this is easy on them as they have made it on me.
