Description One of the boys who almost didn't make it. He and his bro Papi (Papirika, when we were under the mistaken idea he was a she) live inside now. Like we needed two more cats underfoot. *headdesk* But they're a hoot, and Skitz and Meepo think they make grand toys. Oddly enough though, Ash's best buddy (other than his bro, of course) is Koya the cat-chasing dog.

He's my BOY. Almost died on me out in the barn so now he and his bro (the one in Egyptine) sleep on my face in the bed. We call them "the twins." Got it made in the shade.

Thanks so much. I'd never heard of this system, so I went over and read all about it. What a great idea! Thanks for the head's up ... and for the link.

He's a poser, isn't he? Doesn't show what a stinker he also is though ...

Thanks. He's such a little poser. And this photo utterly misrepresents him. He looks so adult in it ... like he's all dressed up in his Sunday best with his hair slicked down proper instead of covered in mudd and chocolate the way little boys inevitably are.

He looks adorable and intense, is what he looks.
Does he keep frogs in his furry little pockets as well?

If he had pockets, I'm pretty sure he would. There are times I think I should have named him Dennis the Menace instead of Ash. Although, to be perfectly honest, I kind of expected as much. That nut did not fall far from the tree at all. He's EXACTLY like his mom was at that age. When we first brought them inside, though, it seemed like it was Papi who took after his mom and Ash who was sweet and cuddly. As they got older (and we got Ash's hernia fixed), they kind of reversed roles on me ... probably because Ash was getting cuddled so much because he felt so crappy all the time that he somehow developed the idea that he was the center of the universe. No idea how that happened.

Poor little punkin, I bet he's a happy camper now.

You would win a lot of money on that bet.
