hi there first of all, this is quite the awesome photo!!!
very nice photoshop edit of the photo color and the fabric underneath the watch definitly compliments the watch itself.
Now here is my only issue and reason why my score seems SOOOOO low.....pocket watch photos are just rediculously common, I personally wish it wasnt so common so that they can be more appreciate it, but I cant lie. I have seen so many especially of this angle, the way the watch is laid and such.
Try use your imagination, I read in 3wyl's post that you are 15 and completely self taught?? like 80-90% of photographers are self taught as well as I haha, but you have quite the eye, so go out, be original. You're right, I do see a lot of pictures like this. This is an older photo, and I do try my hardest to be original. Sometimes though, 'classic' pictures are still nice to take.

haha I agree classics are always best for beginning self learners to try out, so dont worry about being un-original.
but try and go out there and explore your style you know?? you seem to have quite the artistic eye for complimenting the main subject with the background so just keep on shooting!!!

I'd add a bit more light tones to the watch, but I'm not really sure if that's the right thing. The subdued colors work quite well in your favor.
