Description
Der rote Totenkopf is one of Marvel's most distinctive supervillains -- an unapologetic Nazi, he is ruthless to the point that even other supervillains are uncomfortable around him. Although originally portrayed in the comics as the Führer's spymaster, I've always preferred the Skull as a sort of Kriegsherr, a mastermind ready to be trusted with any kind of "special task."

He's pictured here wearing the Großkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes (1939 variant) and the summer tunic and accouterments of a Reichsmarschall. Both distinctions were historically only awarded to Hermann Göring.
