All I've known is lust and want...
I thought that you could show me love.
I was right for a moment, then you showed me the dark side of love.
Of how it breaks one so badly that they think there's nothing to live for.

Who knew the sound of a breaking heart could be so loud,
That trying to find all the pieces to try to put yourself together
Could take so long, that you start to think that it's impossible and you shouldn't bother.
Just leaving yourself to die from a broken-heart.

So instead of loving me as I thought you would you have taught me an important lesson that I will surely learn over and over.
Don't throw yourself out there in the sake of love......it won't always have the best results.
But I have a feeling that this won't be the first time that all of this will happen.
Now at least now when it does I think I know what to prepare for. But I hear that there is different kinds of heart-break so I may never know at all what to feel after a broken-heart.
I shall try, till I find the one that keeps my heart whole, and instead of breaking it, helps close up all the sore, wounds and scars left by you and probably many others.
