Watercolours and white acrylic paint on watercolour paper, 305 mm x 229 mm. Most of the flowers are actually spattered masking fluid, but I underestimated how much flowers I'd need, so I filled in some spaces with white acrylic paint. I had a very positive experience splattering masking fluid with an old toothbrush.

Part two of my Mother's Day gift. My mother once told me of a scene like this she saw in her youth. I hope she recognizes it.

White anemones, or Anemone nemorosa, are strongly associated with Mother's Day here in Finland.
