With your logic, we find that Paul, who described himself as the worst of sinners, was essentially the biggest hypocrite to ever live, seeing as he penned that scripture (along with half of the New Testament) that we now live by under this new covenant. What do we do with all these precepts and statements issued out of hypocrisy?

His actions. Optimus resembles Christ because of his actions. His selflessness, wisdom, his boldness, his gentleness. There's more but these are major qualities. And I know what your response will be, "Any hero can have those traits." and that's true. But Optimus's actions and qualities pour out to me the most (And the fact that he's like Aslan from Narnia) and make me feel as if he were God.
