LOZ and Homestuck!! At first I wanted to see what KK would look like Toon Link style and suddenly, it transpired to this because I came up with a story while drawing. This is an AU in case you are wondering.

Here’s a taste of it:

I call this... Legend of Zelda: Knight of Alternia. (Cool enough?)

It all starts with Karkat receiving a strange message from a mysterious person who claims to be a powerful wiseman from far beyond telling of an item hidden by Karkat’s ancestor that can bring all color spectrums of his race together and live in peace. However, it is hidden in an ancient tomb that only he can open. Baffled at this information, Karkat had trouble believing the stranger and whether or not he should accept the offer of helping him get the item until Gamzee convinced him and wanted to tag along and experience the “miracles” of the wonderful treasure. So he did.

Soon, the two trolls and the wiseman ventured out to the tomb and, true to the man’s words, Karkat was able to open it. Soon after, they find the item, but something goes terribly wrong. The man takes the item, which was shaped like a crown, puts it on, and laughed sinisterly as he began to glow. Both Karkat and Gamzee were confused until the man reveals that he is actually the great Ganondorf and that the crown he now wears does not bring peace but destruction buy sucking the power of every troll that he comes in contact with. He proves his point by zapping Karkat, but was pushed aside by Gamzee zapping him instead. Once his powers were gone, no trace of him was left behind and Ganondorf instantly transforms, taking in the traits of a Subjuggulator along with its power.

Karkat stood frozen, too stunned by the events that took place, especially by the loss of his best friend. Ganondorf was about to aim for Karkat when another mysterious being flew out of nowhere and teleported Karkat out of the tomb and too another location. Still shaken, he thanks the person who happens to be a female spirit. She identifies herself as Merila, a being created by her masters to guard the tomb and the artifact inside. But before she tries to explain the situation they are currently in, a giant earthquake erupts caused by Ganondorf and with Gamzee’s power combined with the power of the Triforce, he creates a rift between dimensions of his home planet and Alternia.

Moments before that in Hyrule, we have Link who was invited to Hyrule Castle to celebrate Princess Zelda’s birthday. During the celebration was when the rift happens and we suddenly have Ganondorf appearing before them and, as you may guess, kidnaps Zelda. Before Link could attempt to stop him and save his friend, Ganondorf teleports him to Alternia. Link falls from the sky not too far from where Karkat and Merila are and that is basically how they all meet.

After explanations, arguments (mostly from Karkat), and things being settled, Merila tells them that she was once a weapon strong enough to even outmatch the power that Ganondorf now holds, but in order for her to become that weapon, they must awaken the gods that created her called the God Tiers (I bet you can guess who they are). Each God Tier is asleep in one of four temples spread across Alternia and they must go to each one. Once they are all awakened, she will become the weapon that will defeat Ganondorf. But they must hurry before he sucks the power out of each troll in the color spectrum and rule both their worlds.

And so begins their adventure! Will they win? Will they fail? And what in goddesses’ name has become of Gamzee?! Support this random imagination from my out-of-control head and I might reveal these details through more art pieces. You can even give me ideas!
