Info here: www.tssznews.com/2013/10/02/seβ¦I did this for fun, because everyone else is doing it. This is what I think they probably look after spending hours interpreting the shadows. Every single piece of shadow is accounted for except for that strange mass directly under Tails's right (our left) cheek. Maybe it's a tumor.
Also I absolutely hate the way Knuckles is all steroid up. There better be be an episode that explains this!

I think Knuckles is just buff because they wanted him to stand out more as the 'tank' character.

Great job on this artwork about Sonic Boom! airing on Cartoon Network fall 2014! I also would like to know why Knuckles is so buff! Sonic looks very racer like, Tails very mechanic and Amy Rose, cute as ever!

Really good pic. I'd be pretty happy if the new designs turn out something like this. Knuckles' will probably take some getting used to, but I'd be content if he looks something like this, as it's pretty close to his regular design.
I just hope the writers of this series will come up with sharp plots and keep the personalities of our favourite characters right, even if the series is going to be based around comedy.

Wow... I actually really like all your designs. Though I think the tattoo on Knux is a bit out there, it still looks good. ;o;
As for Knuckles' build... I'm actually getting used to it. It's sorta like how I felt about the new voice actors, I didn't like them at first, but then they started to grow on me. That's how I feel anyway.

My theory for why Knuckles is so tall/buff:

He is standing farther away from the wall than Sonic, Tails and Amy are. That would make his shadow taller and wider, and give the silhouette the illusion of being bulkier than Knuckles actually is.
