Can't help thinking that the most prevalent style of fractal in those calendars seems to be spirals though! What do you think? Do they need a little more variation?

At the end of the day, as far as I can see, it's down to people to contribute whatever they feel best at doing, and for the publishers to choose what they like best out of it all, so no big deal, hey! (Or am I completely wrong about that - Hmmmm..)
There's no way I would wish to get involved in any contention over something that really should be a pleasure to do!

I appreciate that. I had to delete my last journal entry because everyone was bad mouthing the calendar. I am supposed to be promoting it, not the other way around. I am well aware of the concerns about the calendar and I'll do what I can to help.

I wish that you would (get your brother going too). I am all for getting a flame or 2 in the calendar. The only thing that concerns me about flames is that they need to be rendered at 4200 x 4200. I would hate to have a flame accepted and then not be able to come through with a full sized image. Please do it

I'll see what i can do. 4200x4200 is no big deal for me. The latest versions use half the memory, and i've got lots

A great spiral with lots of wonderful color. Very beautiful, and- from what I've seen, a good candidate for Avalanche.
