Two years ago, I told myself: "You've have drawn the same thing for the third time. It's gonna be the last time you do it, alright?"
And after two years and a couple of weeks, here I am.

Painting the 4th version of one of my oldest pony drawings. The first approach looked satisfying to me and got over 200 favourites (which was an enormous amount for me back then). One year later, after I decided to start making digital art, the 2nd - not such a great one - appeared. I remember being so happy with the results, but, to be honest, now I look at it with a bit of disgust XD Then in March 2016, the third piece was uploaded to my dA. It was suppoded to be the last pic of the three.
But as you can see, I'm bad at keeping promises I gave to myself .3.

I've been struggling with an artblock recently - it was very easy for me to come up with ideas for new art, but I couldn't force myself to draw any of them ;w; I'm sure that many of you felt like this someday and now I have to agree that, well... it's not a good feeling XD For some reason, I started scrolling through my older pieces and realized how I improved throughout the years. My point is to tell you, especially the ones have to cope with artblock or a lack of motivation - even if it's difficult, don't ever give up. Things might look like nothing is changing at times, but trust me - I thought the same before I looked at my "old stuff" folder in my gallery XD Big changes always start with small steps. You migt not even realize when you become so good at something that you get a bunch of amazing fans c:

Summing up, I was trying to think about what I have learnd from my adventures with these three fat smol horses and I think that the best answer would be patience. Princess Sunbutt, Luna and Cadence thaught me to never give up, to always keep going and to always - ALWAYS save your hecking .sai files every 15 minutes. Yes. Thanks for that, horse princesses.

For those who feel down or bored, feel free to check out the previous versions of the "Three unicorn wing horses". I hope they'll show you that with some time, even such pieces of crap can turn into something pretty nice XD
