"Those born out for glory should always beware, for the devil has declared that the only place the glorious could go is down, and all that would be left from this glory is but a shadow, devoted to a destiny that surely belongs only to the glorified.

Aiden grew up with what could be described, supernatural skills. He grew with the young Elise, the neighbor's daughter, who actually learned of his skills even before his parents. She grew up to be a fashion designer, and he tried his best to be a musician. As their relationship grew, so did their dreams of marriage.

When he had only sixteen, Aiden's parents were kidnapped, along many other people who were held hostage inside a bus by a terrorist. As a stubborn imperative teenager, he decided to act, and so, Elise revealed to him something she made for fun: A superhero outfit, with a mask that should hide his identity from the terrorist. He was reluctant, but in the end he acted as such.

Due to the usage of his 'powers', dividing the bus in two as a sword would, he was named Vorpal after Lewis Carrol's writting. Things could only go down for him now, and so they did.

As he acted as a guardian angel, the trickster believed he wasn't yet the bearer he needed to be, so he twisted Elise's mind, made of her an all seeing being who, as such, could never again feel any emotion that wasn't predicted, and worse, made her realize that, in order to make chances higher for him releasing his role, she should sacrifice herself. And so she did, forcing him to kill her.

Devastated by this, Aiden released out of himself a tremendous powert, that would now be tested and played by the trickster."

This is a character for a project of mine. It's a concept art still, and I have to make a turn around, but I wanted to see what people would think.
