From: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess/Super Smash Bros BrawlCharacters: Sheik
Used: Pen & Paper, and Photoshop CS3
Time Taken: 20 - 30hours
Well here is the picture for this week. It actually took me a lot longer than I had planned on, mainly because Sheik's outfit is very complicated. The background didn't take nearly as long as i thought it would. I tried some new techniques using different brushes for the stone. It seemed to save a little bit of time and still looks pretty good.
I was very sad to see that Sheik did not make an appearance in Twilight Princess, which is too bad too, I could so see Sheik leaping from the towers of Hyrule Castle, ready to kick some butt! I went back and forth on whether or not the squares should be in the picture. It is the Twilight Relm, but the squares stuck out too much the way I originally had them, so I blended them into the background a little more and it seemed to work much better.

Great picture of Sheik. Yeah, I found it interesting how they used the style of Twilight Princess for her in SSBB but she never even appeared in TP.

He/She was originally supposed to, hence the new design. I guess they pulled the character at the last minute thinking it would be too obvious.

In fact the only reason I dislike Sheik's design in Bawl is because of the obvious taped boobs. I mean I'm not going to get into the whole debate of Sheik's gender but isn't the purpose of Sheik to disguise elda as a man. The Bawl design defeats that purpose. I apologise fo the typos. Me keyboard is messed up.

I'm talking about the obvious not very well done taping. In Brawl you can tell that Zelda's boobs are taped. In Ocarina of Time you can't tell by just looking.

Simply stunning. U did a great job at making Sheik look enough like a man but also not too manly so that people who see Sheik as either gender can be happy. Great job! I love this picture.

I love this, and my thoughts exactly, but if you had taken a close look at Zelda's coat, on the back is Sheik's symbol, you know the red eye? (well, it wasn't red on the coat)

This has to be one of the best pieces of Sheik I've ever seen! The detail and coloring on this is just incredible! You got all of Sheik's features just right, down to the little details and textures of the suit (love the hair strands and the braid, especially!) I also really enjoy the idea of this piece and the background is wonderfully well done. Such amazing skill you have

This is so geek-tastic! Seriously, you made her look epic, and everything in this picture just screams Sheik! The background and shading/color choices scream that Hyrule is in turmoil, and Sheik's stance defines her position as an epic ninja! Much love!

Gorgeous work here. I agree it is a pity that she wasn't in TP, but at the same time, maybe it's for the best since I'm sure she'd totally romp on Link if she was possessed.

Was worth the efford, love the amount of detail, and also a nice portrait of how Sheik could have operated in Twilight Princess. It's really a pity that s/he didn't make it into the game
