Охохох. Я нарисовала этот эскиз еще в середине февраля и только сегодня его раскрасила. Ну, лучше поздно, чем никогда +)
А мои задние фоны всё ещё повергают меня в пучины отчаяния, но теперь они хотя бы смотрятся весело..

Ohohoh. I've done this sketch in the middle of February and I've coloured it only today. Well, it's better late than never +)
And my backgrounds still plunges me into the depths of despair, but now they at least looks fun..

If you are talking about the pronunciation, there is no "V" sound in Chinese, only "W." So that's why we call him Wanya, or Iwan XDDD

Actually, you're right about that. Personally, I hate it -- I think Chinese people make life unnecessarily difficult this way.
Say, one day Yao made dinner for Ivan. He made lots of fancy dishes, but when they sat down, Yao said:
"I'm sorry Wanya, it's only a couple of simple dishes, and my cooking wasn't at its best. I hope you are not disappointed."
Under such circumstance, the correct response from Ivan should be:
"Yao, you are talking nonsense. Your cooking is absolutely amazing, and this is already way more than I can eat! You are the best." (Yao HP +500)
Then Yao would be head over toes for Ivan, and you can expect hot sex in the evening 
But, if Ivan agrees with yao, and says:
"I agree with you, there definitely could be some improvement." (Yao HP -500)
or say:
"The dishes are simple, but I don't mind, as long as Yao is with me." (Yao HP -200)
Then there is 75% chance that Ivan gets kicked out the door after dinner.
So, if Yao wants to be praised, he doesn't just ask straightforwardly "Do you like my cooking." Instead, he degrades himself a little, saying his cooking is not good, and in this way, trying to get Ivan to say "no, your cooking is good."
Chinese people, especially older people, enjoy doing this. They see it as an act of humbleness, but I think it's hypocrisy XDD
