I don't have a computer powerful enough, nor do I have a console to play it.
I just have a lot of issues with the game, some personal.
Such as way too many characters for a class-based shooter, to having essentially a pay-to-play version of the same game render your favorite game you've loved for so long be called shit in comparison.

For all it's worth, I respect your opinion but if you ever get the chance to try it - keep an open mind. It is part of the type of games you have to try yourself to be able to formulate a personal opinion - just watching others play on streams is no dice.

I just don't see the use in having over 10 characters; it over complicates the game and making it more confusing and harder to fully understand. As it stands, I don't see much of a skill ceiling considering how equally each character is balanced. Although somehow the rock-paper-scissors aspect is a lot less apparent due to the massive amount of characters, they all still seem to pull that off one way or another, which makes it lack a lot of skill.
Another reason for Overwatch being more popular is, well, it's new.
TF2 is almost a decade old.
