All he wanted was to be loved. All he wanted was to have a family. All he wanted was to be a hero. Instead he was seen as little more than a liability by all of those he thought were his friends and loved ones, discarded as though he was useless by the people he trusted most, and then told to just accept that others were seen by the entire universe as more superior than him. As more deserving of life than him.

This is a boy who hates both Lex Luthor and Clark Kent, seeing as they both failed him. Not even Lois cared about him, she was the one who threw him away the first change she got.

He as nobody in his life but himself, just wandering the world alone. Not part of any team, as he wishes every single faction nothing but a painful and bitter death for the betrayal and trauma inflicted upon him. The lack of love, the lack of care, the lack of even the slightest sliver of true friendship. He hates Robin, he hates Raven, he hates Darkseid, he hates Batman, he hates Superman, he hates Flash, he hates Luthor, he hates Lane, he hates everyone and everything. The only one who cares about him is himself, and that's just the way it will always be now.

Once, long ago, in a time completely forgotten, he used to be happy. He used to be a cocky, smiling superhero and even a teen titan.

But now, that boy is but a distant memory, so decreed by Fate & Spectre.

They demand him to accept fate and get back to the rules. Instead he punched Lex Luthor until he vomited up blood, resigned from the Titans and ran away from the Kents to get away from Clark & Lois forever. When Spectre got mad? He killed him. Punched reality with all of the hate and anger in his heart, shattering the cruel bastard to pieces. All to just finally be allowed to be alone, since it's clear nobody wants him to be in their lives anyway, they'd all rather a different version of him anyway.

I miss Reign of the Supermen Kon so much.
He needs to come back in canon form, but sadly I am one of the only people left who would even want that at all, since so many people want to obey the "rules" and accept the events of that horrible movie as some sacred continuity that must never be reversed or undone.
I would love if it were possible to separate this version of Kon from the movies, to put him in the YJ animated show or something, but again, everyone would clearly hate such a concept so what's the point.

There's just no reason to be happy for this Kon at all, and no reason for him to be happy either.
