Description Well, my title is just because I couldn't think of a better one. I was more going for a tree spirit/the soul of a tree concept, as opposed to the old Daphne myth where the woman turns into a tree.
This was my final painting project. I wasn't supposed to use traditional methods, ie paintbrushes, on it very much. I really only needed the brush for some of the face, branches and bark detailing.
Sorry about the photo...my camera is acting up, so it looks a bit better in real life.

This is beautiful! It looks so calm and melancholic... also the background is great. The magic in this forest can even be felt in this world where so liitle magic is left...

I love it! oh, and don't worry about the name, I still understood the concept of her being a spirit. but wow. that is really good, what type of media did you use for this one did you use oils? once again, wow, you did a really awesome job on this.

Its acrylic paint on canvas. I watered it down and used a spray bottle, leaves, paper towels and my fingers. You can do some nifty stuff with spray bottles
