Too often in RPGs the main characters get all the credit, while it is the nameless generic units you recruit into your ranks that do the brunt of the fighting. I always prefer to leave the supposed protaganists on the sidelines, and form my own custom party whenever I get the chance. Here, we have, from left to right, the Valkyrie, Magic Knight, Samurai, Archer, and Mage class from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Fight on, you brave, nameless warriors, and know that at least one person is still thinking about (petrifying) you!Characters made using Kisekae. There may be a follow-up to this XD

I have always loved the disgaea series from the first disgaea (that was on ds which I played it on) to disgaea 5 (though haven't played disgaea 2,3) and I have always loved the prinnies, dood.

I couldn't agree more. Somehow, my Mage always wound up leagues more powerful than everyone else. >.<
...A shame Disgaea suffers from the same reluctance to have petrification as most games to come out for the last 10 years.

It's the same deal for me, though it's always the samurai girl that becomes the strongest in my games. I've moved away from Disgaea games in recent years, since the endless level grinding got repetitive. If only there were a petrify status, I might have been more inclined to keep playing. Alas.
