I'll surely keep it coming... I just wish I could keep this one coming more frequently; A.E. on a schedule sucks up so much comic-making energy, ack. But I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Canvas size? Ahh... (checks) for both comics, it's like 6-and-a-half-ish by 9-ish inches. 300 dpi resolution. So pretty large. (of course I reduce them by about half for posting here )

Yes, absolutely! I can't remember her name right now (because I have HORRIBLE memory lol) but your character with the glowing eye has always been so interesting to me! To be honest I be the one who would go up to her and want to hang out regardless of the silly rumors.

Of course the whole "don't look in her face" thing seems silly to me but I don't really know what kind of rumors the other heard but i think she's wicked cool and would love to talk to her.

While I may never get around to it, do you like fanart of her made? (And do you care if it's with other characters? XD)

The one-eyed lady is Mask Face (or 'Masky') and I'm sooooo happy you are interested in her because she's very dear to me, and so is her story. And believe me, I want to hang out with her too! Additionally I'd HUG the living DAYLIGHTS out of that woman if she were only solid.

'Don't look her in the face' is one of a plethora of superstitions kingdom Cybelline has formed around poor Masky... that kingdom has a cultural way of looking at things that assumes that an outward appearance is all there is to something... if something looks 'pretty', it's 'good', and if it looks 'ugly', it's 'bad'. And you can guess what that means for Masky, who is facially deformed. (Not that I think she's at all ugly, personally). Doesn't help her that there was a bit of nasty history between the kingdom and her grandma, but that's another story. xP

ANYway, my lengthy pontificating aside. Yes, you can absolutely draw Masky if you want to! What other characters would you put her with, curiously?

OMG I love her so much now. I'd probably draw my persona-character giving her a much needed hug. I dont know much about her but I'd expect a lot of awkward "What the heck are you doing" moments XD 

well, Sade kinda a strange character. being both a representation of me and also kinda her own character. We are kinda the same and at the same time kinda different. Sometimes I would have dreams about her, and she/I once referred to her as a inter-dimensional traveler, so that she kinda goes through various worlds. Because of this I draw her with a lot of different characters. (and trust me, Masky is not the weirdest thing we've come across xD)

I want to hear that story. I want to hear them all tbh. I ADORE learning about characters (that interest me, so her of course) and I'm really good at listening to rambling and rambling straight back. So like, if you ever just want to go on a spree of explaining everything about her to anyone, I am way more than willing to listen xD

also I already made a few sketches because I have no self control, so I'm probably gonna put them in my Sta.sh in a bit if you want to see?

Aaaaaaaaw Yes, do please give her hugs, she needs them!! Though, hugs from people she doesn't even know probably wouldn't be very warmly welcomed; I'd expect a lot of swearing and writhing in attempts to escape... and then some more profane accostings when she DOES manage to get out. NOT exactly a people-person, ack. Only if she knows you well, AND likes you just as well, might she hug you willingly or at least allow a hug FROM you... that's the impression I get. Don't let that stop you though!

Sade sounds interesting... is she the red-haired gal in your avatar? I have a couple of characters that are that kind of thing... SORT of me, but not. And trust me, as well... I have introduced Masky to some STRANGE characters, so Sade probably wouldn't cause many ripples, so to speak.

You want to hear more? Well, by all means! You could, if you are that interested, start here, with various 'journal entries' from Masky's perspective , detailing events she considers worthy of writing down. I recommend 'Small Things' in particular, that's still one of her best to this day. ^u^ I really appreciate your interest.

Yes, yes, by all means! I'd love to see your sketches. ^_^ (One tip if you're drawing Masky with other humans... she's really tall. xD No, like... obscenely tall. Like almost-6-foot-5 kind of tall. :'D )

see now I would imagine Sade would be that annoying person who hangs around and just keeps on hugging her all the time and will stay even when yelled at, attacked, or what-have-you lol
... ooooooon the other hand Perhaps she would just sit there and ask about her and just be the supportive type who kinda hangs back until they get comfortable with each other? hmmm... come to think of it, the first reaction would be what happens in her head and the second would be much closer to reality. 

and yes! its actually a really old image of her that I haven't updated in years. I've been thinking to upload more art of her here anyway, most of the art I have of her is in my Sta.sh xD Sade isn't really a strange character. She appears like a human to most people, (but with pointed ears, she loves her pointed ears xD) but actually has powers to change her appearance and kinda "summon" extra limbs and become kinda anthro in that sense. 

Now Sade is actually a fairly short person. Only 5 ft tall, she'd always be looking up at Masky x3 but one of her favorite "limb summons" is wings, and she can use them to fly or often times just use the energy of them to kinda hover. this is how she makes eye contact with most people xD

imagining their intereactions is fun lol, though I'm sure if I read more about Masky I can learn so much more and think of SO many more mishaps that might occur if they ever meet xD

I am so excited to read about her though! haha gotta make sure to save this comment so I can refrence back to it later :3

SQUEAK oh gosh, I really really love and adore those sketches. Wow... I especially like the one where she's kinda-partially smiling... but then I like the quizzical one too... but then I like ALL of them. Is it okay that I saved an image file of them to my computer? All the better to come back and gaze at them adoringly, aaaah. I'm so delighted you drew these; thank you for bringing such glee

Hahaaaaa, Masky has complained in the past about me and my persistent hugs too... but I think she might be used to it by now in my case since it's been so long. Besides, I think that deep down, she probably knows she needs hugs and appreciates them. Of course, all this happened inwardly... if she were actually solid, she'd have to put up with it on a whole new level. It might be hard for me to let go if she appeared in tangible reality somehow, ha.

You should put new ones! And ooo... 'limb summoning'? Sounds a bit eerie, but also very handy. If I had pointed ears I'd probably like them too... brushing aside all the people calling me and elf and/or a vulcan that I'd have to put up with every day. :'D

...Oh, goodness. Five feet? Sade is like miles shorter than Masky. :'D Or at least well over a foot. xP She'd definitely have to stand upon something if she wanted to hug Masky and be at a reasonable level.

ahhh I'm so glad you like them so much!! honestly you are making my day <3 (because I'm in the middle if a mega panic attack because of finals but you are making me so happy right now omg xD)

you can totally save them! I don't mind I plan to eventually go back and scan them though for better quality, then I'll probably like them up and upload them so you can favorite them ^^

I love your relationship with Masky so much. that kinda sounds creepy now that I think about it but I really adore it. its very similar to something I go through a lot that I don't often tell people because I've been bullied for it before :c 

I plan to start drawing her more, of course. I was self conscious about it in the past because she is a deep symbolism of me, and can easily be seen as kinda "mary sue" with a lot of her abilities ; but she is only so powerful because of what she is. when you get to explore a ton of different universes with different magical elements you get to learn how to use all sorts of abilities from said elements xD 

well it sounds super weird like that. XD Think of it like if you see a human with cat ears and a tail, but the ears and tail are not 100% Solid-- because they are made up of a basic energy. to make a solid form of energy would be like....trying to make an ice cube from the water int eh air. The water int eh air is so spread out that the solid form would be TINY. so her energy is usually in a mist-like form and what not. 

I often like to compare it to a conjuring spell when she gives it physical attributes (like wings that can actually push against air to fly) because she'd basically be using a magic to make something appear. The fun part about this is that she only has a few parts to her that can do this; Cat/wolf like years, pointed ones really, that rest atop her head. its more of a passive thing and doesn't actually do much other than reach with her emotions and stuff. usually there for communications. then she has a tail, she loves her tail, and almost always has it even if its not solid nor visible. Its usually a cat like form unless she has wings, to which it turns to a more reptilian form, though both of them helps her balance x3 and finally her wings; usually they take after the form of a dragon/draconic figure, being webbed and kinda scale-y. these are actually the hardest for her to summon, so she only does this for extreme showing off or when she REALLY needs to fly. xD

Also, these are all based off of things that connect to me in RL. I have whats called "supernumerary phantom limbs" which is a term for the physical sensation and reception in my brain of limbs that do not exist- ones that never have. (normal phantom limbs occur to those who have had an amputation) to which I feel all three of the sensations listed above. Ears and tail are the easiest to sense, though wings are always hard because my back is messed up (lots of muscle knots, lots of pain) . 

whoo okay I'm rambling xD essentially, too, her power simplifies to one thing; energy manipulation. buuuuuut because of her experiences in other places she had so many ways she can do this, and it seems like so many more powers. 

Yeah xD I'm 5'1 in RL, so I can really relate lol. Also I imagine when Sade gives her a hug it's be like where she just wraps her arms around Masky's waist and just hang there like a lil' gremlin xD

What sounds creepy? That I make little distinction between 'imaginary' people and 'real' people? Might be a little creepy but if you measure an entity by the effect they have and not by their being composed of atoms or otherwise, 'real' becomes subjective. And who bullies you for stuff like this?? Take me to them. I shall singe the upper layer of hair off their heads. >:[

Wow, that's a lot of detail! Sounds pretty awesome. You remind me of my friend Tams because she, too, likes to go into incredible amounts of detail about how the magic in her head-world works. I've heard about phantom limbs... I dunno if it's the same thing but I can very acutely imagine that I have Sekoiya the Dragon's wings, tail, and/or horns at any given moment. xD (Not that horns are really a 'limb', but you know. :'P )

Hahaha, I can just see Masky now, very pointedly and precisely prying Sade's arms from about her middle with the most dryly irritated expression EVER. x'D It wouldn't be the first time Masky has been (unwillingly) hugged by a very short character.

Yeah lol I'm working on it. hopefully I wont get beaten to death by this paper though OTL (English is hard and also required). On that note I need to continue practicing with drawing and make it to draw her (and her with sade) more xD I have a tiny chibi thing in my sketchbook even that I made to be funny but I dont have a picture of it online yet. I'll totally give you a like as soon as I do though. 

oh, I meant the line "I love your relationship with Masky" lol. it could be interpenetrated as kinda creepy but then again what isn't nowadays lol. the whole effect of people who are there but not there and still affect us? thats totally normal for me. Very much normal xD In fact, I have 6 skeletons who hang around me ALL the time.... okay not all the time but I get to talk to them every now and then and at least one or two is always following me lol.

Because of Sade's experience of various types of magic I think its fun to incorporate it into stories that I write. I plan to be an author at some point int he future but I have a lot of work to do for my original stories lol. one thing in common though; MAGIC. and yeah, supernumerary phantom limbs are basically the same things but with limbs that never originally existed on your body. Also horns are totally viable as phantom"limbs" because its not about having extra limbs, its about receiving the brain signals or something from something that isn't there. if something touches your horns, you'd still feel it. 

I don't personally have horns but due to some sort of sensational thing if I can focus on a being with specific traits I can feel those traits. I swear to to the stars, the STRANGEST sensation I've ever felt was what a mermaid-like tail feels like, because I was still getting signals from my legs at the same time and it overlapped a TON. bleh. 

omg I can see it too. Though if sade conjured enough energy to form a physical tail it'd probably be wrapped around Masky's leg too. She does that sometimes. 

I dont mind long comments at all, come to think of it! I never really had these kinda awesome long conversations on comments before but I still like it so we can totally continue with this :3

side note: I love all the little emotions you have throughout your comments too. I'm bad with those and have totally adapted to not making any of them appear but in comparison my test is a lot less colorful now. lol
